Tuesday, September 10 MARKETING YOUR BUSINESS FOR THE 21st CENTURY

This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of developing a marketing plan tailored to your specific business goals, examine different marketing strategies, help you determine the appropriate advertising budget and provide insights on the most effective media mix (newspaper, television, radio, website advertising) for your business. Tuesday, September 17 EXPORTING FOR THE 21st CENTURY

This workshop will assist businesses that want to target and reach foreign markets, and provide tips to guide them through the complexities of exporting and export financing. Learn how your company can take advantage of the Internet to market and sell products in the global market place. Presenters include the International Trade Assistance Center, The Massachusetts Export Center and MassDevelopment.

Tuesday, September 24 NON-TRADITIONAL FINANCING FOR YOUR BUSINESS

This workshop will focus on public financing as well as mezzanine and private equity investments as an alternative to traditional financing options. Presenters include the Massachusetts Business Development Corp., Mass Development, New Bedford Economic Development Council, Inc., and Southeastern Economic Development Corp.

Tuesday, October 1 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

This workshop includes topics on how to know when to upgrade your system, network administration, obtaining T-1 lines, protecting your system from external problems and other pertinent subjects. Presenters include Verizon and the Massachusetts School of Information Technology. Other presenters to be announced.
