Linux Labs Remote Access

In order to access our linux labs we prefer students use Putty and Winscp, both available from our software repository or online

The linux machines have the following host names for use in Putty and Winscp:

arizona.cis.umassd.edu

iowa.cis.umassd.edu
michigan.cis.umassd.edu

newyork.cis.umassd.edu

Use uranium.cis.umassd.edu as a last resort then ssh into another machine once logged in if you are having problems connecting from off campus

When logging in remeber to use your linux account and password and not your windows. These two accounts are seperate entities.
