Are you interested in participating in our Freshman Summer Institute developed for Entering College of Engineering Students?
The Freshmen Summer Institute (FSI) is a week long residential program for New College of Engineering Students, running August 9-14, 2009. This program provides a bridge between high school and college, allowing students to brush up on subjects such as algebra, trigonometry, and geometry by seeing how these areas of study are used to solve engineering problems. They will also participate in workshops to gain experience in study skills, teamwork, leadership, and time management. After dinner speakers from industry will share stories from the world of engineering.
