Biography:
Dr. Gerald J. Lemay is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He received a B.S. degree in Physics (cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a M.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
During the past twenty years, Dr. Lemay has taught computer tools, the science of engineering, elements of EE, electronics, signals and systems, software engineering, communications theory, senior design project, statistical communication theory, project engineering, digital filters, electromagnetic theory, digital computer systems, algorithms, and power systems. He currently teaches a general education course on sustainability and owns and operates his own offsite power generation station.
