The computer science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012; Telephone: 410-347-7700). ABET is recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation and accredits programs, not institutions.
UMass Dartmouth has full accreditation by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
