The group's overall research focus is the development of patial and temporal methods for the efficient simulation of hyperbolic partial differential equations with shocks or sharp gradients. Their research interests also include post-processing for hyperbolic PDEs and spatial discretization methods for time-dependent PDEs, including weighted essentially non-oscillatory methods, as well as radial basis function methods.
