Undergraduate Advising Information

• Every undergraduate student is assigned to a faculty advisor who monitors his/her academic progress and helps with course selection. Students are required to meet with their advisors before they can register for classes, except in the first semester of their Freshman year. Ordinarily students in mechanical engineering retain the same advisor throughout their studies until their final semester, when the chairperson advises them in preparation for graduation.
