ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION

Division Staff Announcements

Please join us in welcoming Jarrad Nunes and MaryJane McManus to the Enrollment Management Division team.

At the beginning of February, Jarrad Nunes assumed his responsibilities as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Marketing & Communications.  Already he has made his mark by re-focusing (and re-naming!) our spring yield programs.  Under Jarrad’s leadership, the UMD 101 programs got off to a successful start with the College of Nursing’s event in late February.  Along with managing the visit programs, Jarrad will be responsible for revamping our publications, our web presence and the overall UMD presentation for prospective students and their families.  A UMass Dartmouth graduate and formerly the mainstay of the College of Visual and Performing Arts Dean’s staff, Jarrad joins us with experience in marketing and communications.

More recently, MaryJane McManus has joined the Financial Aid office as the Student Employment Coordinator.  She will be responsible for the work study and non work study employment opportunities on campus, coordinating with the employing offices, and maintaining and developing the Student Employment website.   Maryjane is no newcomer to the enrollment services area, having served in a number of enrollment and administrative departments before assuming her most recent responsibilities in the Parking Office.

On behalf of the Enrollment Management Division, welcome to both Maryjane and Jarrad!

Message from Don Honeman, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management

The five departments that constitute the Enrollment Management Division at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth provide academic services to our students to ensure that they have a successful university experience.  We are responsible for a range of activities that help to frame the academic experiences our students will encounter while preparing for college, during the admissions process and throughout their college years. These are some of the services our staff provides to prospective and enrolled UMass Dartmouth students:

  • College preparation counseling (Admissions & Financial Aid Departments)
  • Admissions Application processing (Admissions)
  • Financial Aid and scholarship services (Financial Aid)
  • Course Registration (Registrar)
  • Degree Progress Monitoring (Registrar)
  • Transfer student services (New Student Transfer Office)
  •  “One-Stop” service for registration, student billing and financial aid transactions (University Enrollment Center)

The staff in our five departments are committed to the achievement of the University’s strategic enrollment goals, to delivering high quality enrollment services to the UMass Dartmouth community in a student-oriented and technologically efficient manner, and to augmenting the educational mission of the University by fostering personal responsibility, administrative competency and self-advocacy among our students.

Our web site is designed to share important information with the campus community about our staff and the work we perform on behalf of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth community.
