The Master of Arts in Teaching comprehensive interdisciplinary program is designed to provide students with the background, tools, and knowledge necessary to engage in effective and creative teaching in today’s K-12 classroom.

 

 

 

 

Master of Arts in Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis Option

The Master of Arts in Psychology Program is a three-year, 36-credit program from an accredited university that includes the ABA specific courses, and fieldwork experience. The 15-credit certificate program includes the ABA specific courses plus optional fieldwork supervision. All courses are offered under the direction of the UMass Dartmouth Psychology Department, and specific ABA courses will satisfy the content requirements to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) exam.

 

PhD in Mathematics Education

The PhD in Mathematics Education program at UMass Dartmouth addresses a national problem by preparing graduates for a variety of essential careers in a variety of scientific institutions, industries, and federal agencies, as well as the education sector. Moreover, because the program focuses on interdisciplinary perspectives in mathematics education research, we expect our graduates to be highly competitive in today's marketplace for educational scholars in the field of mathematics education.
