Committee Charge: Develop policies pertaining to Faculty’s Bill of Rights and Student’s Bill of Rights outlining the minimum responsibilities of each to the other. Makes recommendations on academic policies contained in the General catalog.

2008 – 2009 Tasks: Student/Faculty Covenant produced in May 08 will be presented and voted on by full Senate in Sept 08. Review and comment on the report of the Commonwealth Transfer Advisory Group (CTAG). Study campus policies regarding withdrawals from classes (enforcement of maximums, timing) and Add/Drop period (length thereof and relationship to W policy). Survey the faculty about their outside of class homework expectations and then compare them with our existing policy 

All committees need to look at whether their charges are appropriate, whether they should continue to exist in their current form, and develop, if appropriate, recommendations for modifications to their original charge
