An important aspect of the Center's mission is to support the efforts by UMass Dartmouth faculty to contribute to and engage with scholarly reflections on learning and teaching in higher education. To this end, we aim to provide up-to-date information about grant opportunities, publication venues, and regional and national conferences pertaining to university-level teaching. We also hope to facilitate access to the teaching-related publications of faculty and promote communication and possible collaboration between faculty members who share teaching-related research interests.
Please send any information you feel would support active engagement on our campus with the scholarship of teaching to the Center.

- fosters significant, long-lasting learning for all students
- enhances the practice and profession of teaching
- brings to faculty members' work as teachers, the recognition and reward afforded to other forms of scholarly work
