The Application Form
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only application required to apply for financial aid at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. UMass Dartmouth determines eligibility for federal, state, and institutional financial aid based upon the information supplied on the FAFSA.
The FAFSA is available in paper and electronic forms. Paper FAFSA's are available from high school guidance offices, college financial aid offices, and many libraries. Students who have previously completed a FAFSA should receive a Renewal FAFSA by late December for the coming school year. If the Renewal FAFSA has not been received by mid-January, obtain and complete a regular FAFSA.
Electronic versions of the FAFSA and Renewal FAFSA are now available to students. To apply on-line, visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov (will open in new window).
