Transfer Applicants

We recommend you file a  Free Financial Aid Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on-line at: www.fafsa.ed.gov  by February 15th to meet the UMass Dartmouth priority consideration date of March 1. Estimate income information if necessary to complete the FAFSA.  Be sure to include the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth  with our federal school code number, 002210.

Paper  FAFSA forms are avaliable outside the Financial Aid Services Office. Complete sign and mail the form to the federal processor in the envelope provided by February 15th to meet the UMass Dartmouth priority consideration date of March 1.  Estimate income information if necessary to complete the FAFSA by the priority consideration date.  Be sure to include the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth federal school code number, 002210.

2008-2009 FAFSA's maybe completed anytime between January 1, 2008 and within three weeks of your last date of enrollment at UMass Dartmouth, however; priority consideration is given to students who file by the March 1, 2008 priority date.

Do not wait until you have been admitted to the University to apply for aid. If you are filing to close to the priority consideration date, we recommend you file on-line.
