Grants and Waivers
CONNECTIONS
UMass Dartmouth is pleased to make available a new program of financial assistance to assist you in paying your bill. Called CONNECTIONS, it offers a $400 fee waiver per semester and allows the opportunity for you to participate in learning and research activities with faculty and community service agencies.
Take a look at what's offered for projects both on-campus and off-campus. (Search criteria for "on-campus" and "off-campus" opportunities can be set in the Job Type field.)
This program is designed for those students who are having difficulty paying for increased costs. If interested, please download, fill in, and submit the application, or contact Bruce Palmer in the Financial Aid Office at 508-999-8643 or by email: financialaid@umassd.edu. For additional information click here.
For faculty interested in listing a project with the program, please go to the Student job listings at http://www.umassd.edu/financialaid/studentemp/listings/ and enter your research project as a Connections (on-campus) job type. For community service agencies interested in listing a project with the program, please download, complete, and fax the Project Description form to 508-999-8935 or email to stuemployment@umassd.edu. Also, all supervisors should familiarize yourselves with the Connections supervisor responsibilities.
