January 1- February 15

Apply for financial aid using the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or Renewal FAFSA. List UMass Dartmouth in Step 6 of the FAFSA with code 002210.

Mail it by February 15th to:

March 1

University of Massachusetts Dartmouth priority consideration date for valid applications received at the federal processor with UMD (code 002210) listed in Step 6.

March 1 and beyond

Keep an eye out for additional information requests from Financial Aid Services. Respond promptly with required documentation as requested. Financial Aid awards mailed to eligible students.

May 1

Priority consideration date for Massachusetts Office of Student Financial Assistance programs (MassGrant, etc.).

Need based scholarship application must be returned to UMD Financial Aid Office.

July and December

Tuition bills mailed to registered students.

On-Going

Keep on the lookout for Promissory Notes and other items that must be returned to Financial Aid Services.
