Shaukat Ali Memorial Humanitarian Scholarship To support a student with financial need who shows academic promise and who lives by the humanitarian ideals shared by Dr. Ali. Preference will be given to students who are maintaining a GPA between 3.0-3.75. Community service and volunteerism will also be considered.

Borden & Remington Scholarship Fund For the offspring of Borden & Remington employees who attend UMass Dartmouth. Said employee must be on the payroll of Borden & Remington Corp at the time of the application and must have been successfully employed with the company for at least two years.

A.J. Carvalho Memorial Scholarship To support a female student of Portuguese descent who has graduated from New Bedford High School with a GPA of at least 3.0; or a full-time, matriculated student at UMD with a GPA of at least 3.0. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need.

Chancellor's Centennial Scholarship For students in a matriculated Master's Degree program who demonstrate excellent academic standing in their chosen field of study. Applicants should have at least one semester of full-time study at UMass Dartmouth. Demonstrated financial need will also be considered.

Earle P. Charlton Scholarship Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with superior standing. Preference given to greater Fall River and Somerset (MA) residents.

Marie Sklodowska Curie Scholarship To support female UMD student majoring in science, mathematics or engineering. Preference given to a student of Polish descent.

Louise A. Habicht University Honors Scholarship To support a full-time, matriculated undergraduate students in the University Honors Program, specifically senior students working on their honors theses at UMass Dartmouth. The recipient will be determined by the Honors Program Director. No application.
Charles J. Hoff Scholarship Program For full-time, Massachusetts residents who have completed 24 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Student must be enrolled for a minimum of 12-credit hours per semester. Students must demonstrate financial need.

A processed FAFSA will allow students to be considered.

Award is renewable on a semester basis conditional upon satisfactory performance and continued financial aid eligibility. The maximum length of the award is six semesters.

Gustave and Elsa LaStaiti Scholarship For full-time students who have completed at least 24 credit hours at UMD or elsewhere; GPA of 3.0 or higher; and who have been actively involved in significant public service at UMass Dartmouth and/or in their home towns. Candidates must be residents of Bristol, Plymouth, Duke or Barnstable counties in Massachusetts. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated financial need.

Michael W. MacFarlane Jr. Memorial Scholarship For undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need who plan to study abroad for a semester or for an entire academic year. Preference will be for students who are, in order of preference: 1) member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, 2) History or Political Science majors, or 3) members of the Phi Sigma Sigma, Delta Pi Omega, Iota Delta Nu or Alpha Sigma Tau sororities.

Cecilia B. Ward Scholarship For deserving students with specific literary or performing arts talent. Students entering their junior year shall apply for the scholarship in the second semester of their sophomore year, and students entering their senior year shall apply in the second semester of their junior year.
