Program Administration
For the University of Massachusetts, three levels will provide guidance and administrative support.
- An Exchange Program Administrator has been appointed. This is a professional staff member with close faculty ties appointed to develop and support exchange program and visiting scholar activities.
- An oversight committee comprising representatives from each participating campus will provide leadership. In parallel, each campus will organize various faculty/staff committees to realize program goals, suggest new directions, and foster interest and participation in the program on their respective campuses.
- Support is provided by service offices on the UMass Dartmouth campus such as the International Student Office and the function for Study Aboard in the Office of Academic Advising. Parallel roles will be played by functions and offices on each UMass campus.
Overall administrative responsibility will reside in the Office of the Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on the Dartmouth campus and be specifically associated with the Academic Affairs administrator for Graduate/Research/International programs.
