Academic Help
UMass Dartmouth offers a variety of services and resources to support a successful academic career, free of charge. Build your support team early, before you have problems.
You can talk to your advisor. Many students only think of their advisors when it's time register for the next semester's classes. But your academic advisor is someone you can talk to about your course work and any academic problems you might be having.
Each college has an academic advising network for its students, and the campus-wide Academic Advising Center serves students in transition. In general, students who have declared a major will be assigned an advisor in that major. Students who are undeclared usually go to the Advising Center (ground floor of the Administration building) for help. Read a bit more about advisors here.
The Academic Advising Center offers access to your advisor and other related academic support systems. Continuing education students should also contact their advisors in the PCE office.
