Dear Students:

Room selection 2008-2009 is coming up shortly and the Housing office would like to guarantee you a reasonable accommodation for next year.  In order to get a placement reserved for you, you must:

1. pre-register with your Resident Assistant between March 3rd – 14th . To pre-register you will have to submit $200 non-refundable housing deposit (check) to your respective RA office. Please note, if you need to pay your housing deposit by cash or credit card, do these types of transaction at Student Enrollment first; then, return receipt to respective RA office
2. submit new medical documentation each year you require reasonable accommodation on campus. All documentation should be sent directly to Nicole Pelaggi, Assignments Manager, in the Housing Office located in Elmwood Hall. All ADA documentation must be submitted to the Housing office no later then Friday, March 28th to be guaranteed a reasonable accommodation.

Once your documentation is approved you will not participate in the room selection process, but be placed by the Assignments Manager, Nicole Pelaggi. If your documentation is not approved, you will still be eligible to receive housing by participating in the on-line room selection process.

Applications and supporting materials are available to download off our website (www.umassd.edu/housing/information/welcome.cfm)  or can be picked up in the Elmwood Housing office.
