Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs  (Search Re-opened)

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks an Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to serve as a member of the Division’s senior leadership team and to advance the University’s educational mission by providing leadership for services, co-curricular programs, and activities that enhance the quality of campus life and promote student engagement, development, and personalized learning.

Minimum qualifications for this new position include: Master’s degree in counseling, student development or related field, significant administrative experience in many of the areas of the Division of Student Affairs with demonstrated success and increased levels of responsibility and accountability. Preference will be given to candidates with experience supervising and supporting departments with a primary focus on multicultural issues, women’s issues, international student issues, students with physical and learning challenges, judicial issues, new student orientation, student activities, parent relations, and programs that focus on the needs of commuter and graduate students. Candidates must have availability for some evenings and weekends.
