Part-Time Lecturer (PTL)
Positions
The Department of Adult and Child Nursing invites applications for Part- time Lecturer (PTL) positions for academic year 2012-2013. Primary responsibilities include clinical agency instruction in acute care adult and/or pediatric nursing.
The College of Nursing is one of five colleges at the
university, with an enrollment of over 600 students which includes basic and
RN-BSN undergraduates as well as graduate students. All programs are fully accredited by the NLNAC
through 2014. The College of Nursing began a PhD program in Nursing in fall
2008 and DNP program in fall 2012.
Minimum
qualifications include Master’s degree in nursing (preferred) from an
accredited program or BSN with 5 years of clinical experience or enrollment in
a Master's/graduate program with a focus on Adult Health or Medical-Surgical
Nursing or Pediatrics; RN licensure in Massachusetts or eligible for RN
licensure in MA; and recent clinical experience. Teaching experience in a
college or university preferred.
