Assistant Director of Admissions

The Assistant Director of Admissions performs a variety of functions designed to recruit and enroll qualified students to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The Assistant Director’s activities are consistent with the University’s Mission Statement and the marketing strategy of the Office of Admissions and the Division of Academic Affairs. Administrative responsibilities include daily oversight and operation of the Admissions Office’s constituent relationship management software system( Talisma). Additionally, the Assistant Director interacts with prospective students and their families as well as relevant professionals and faculty in executing the responsibilities of the position. International students will be a focal point of the responsibilities associated with this position. Lastly, the Assistant Director will coordinate the admissions efforts with campus partners (Ex., Navitas at UMass Dartmouth) in recruiting and processing international students as well as independently develop international recruiting opportunities within the Admissions Office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree; Demonstrated professional admissions experience in an institution of higher education, or similar applicable experience.

Other: Evening and weekend hours required. Travel in and out of state, including overnights, required.
