CIVIL & ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
Part-Time Lecturers

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions. These positions are non-tenure-track positions with responsibilities for undergraduate laboratory and/or classroom teaching.  Possible courses include Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Structural Analysis, Analysis & Design of Concrete Structures, Computer Graphics for Civil Engineering, Surveying, Introduction to Environmental Engineering, Water Quality Engineering, and Engineering Economics.  Other subjects are possible.  Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses, hold office hours, and complete course/program assessments.

Minimum requirements for all candidates include a bachelors and masters degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and proficiency in course content and fluency in the English language.  Exceptional candidates for surveying and computer graphics lecturers may have a bachelors degree.  Preferred qualifications for all courses include professional and teaching experience, as well as professional licensure.
