About the Conference:
The Conference aims at bringing together persons interested in diverse areas of Indian Studies. These will include common men & women, scholars, academics, authors, writers, journalists, media-persons, artists, etc. It is FOURTH in a series of International Conferences on studies related to India and its people flowing from Vedic tradition ñ ancient to modern. The other three conferences held before were:
Submission of Papers for Presentation:
Papers on any aspect of Indian studies can be sent for presentation. These will include those on Archaeology & Anthropology; History & Social Sciences; Language, Literature & Linguistics; Science & Technology; Vedas; Upanishads; Smirities; Puranas; Epics ñ Ramayana & Mahabharat, Gita; Contemporary Works and Issues; Dharma-Shastras, Ethics & Rituals; Agriculture, Plant Science & Ecology; Inter-Religious Dialogue; Health, Yoga & Martial arts.

Take the Bonanza Bus Lines Service from T. F. Green Airport to New Bedford Bus Terminal.
One way fare is $15.50. The bus from T. F. Green will take you to Providence
Bus Terminal where you may have to transfer/change to a New Bedford bound bus.

From New Bedford Bus Terminal, take a taxi to University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus (approximately $ 12.00) or take the SRTA Route 9 (New Bedford - Fall River) to UMD campus. The fare is $2 per trip. It takes about 20 minutes from SRTA Bus Station to UMD campus. The weekday schedule is:

4. Boston Amtrak Train Station
The South Station Bus Terminal is adjacent to the Amtrak Train Station. Walk to the Bus Station and follow directions # 2 (from South Station).
5. Providence Amtrak Train Station
Take a cab from the train station to the Providence Bus Terminal. Take the Bonanza Bus Lines service from Providence to New Bedford Bus Terminal (final destination of the bus is Hyannis). One-way fare is $8.50. The daily schedule is:

Those desiring accommodation on the UMass Dartmouth campus (single room
with single bed in a 5-room townhouse with a one and half bathroom, at a rate

You will be required to pay (cash or check only) for your room at the time of
registration.
