Living Arrangements

Accommodations on campus are available, but are limited. A $200 deposit is required to secure a room on campus. After you have been accepted with an offer of housing, a housing contract will be sent to you so that you can confirm your plans to live in University housing. On-campus housing will not be confirmed until the housing contract is returned to the University. You should be aware that there are several vacation periods during which campus residences are normally closed; however, international students may request to stay on campus during those times, at an additional cost.

You may choose to rent an apartment in one of the local communities. It is advisable to seek assistance from an acquaintance already here if possible. The Office of Housing and Residential Life maintains a list of local rentals and there are a number of real estate offices in the local community who can be of help to you. It is very important that you make your living arrangements well in advance of the beginning of classes.
