The International Student and Scholar Center is part of the University's Division of Student Affairs under the leadership of the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.
The Center was established in the Fall of 2002 when Pine Dale Residence Hall opened. The Center staffing has evolved from a one-person office in 2000 to a department with a Director and two support staff. The Center also employs 3-5 students, and many other students are hired, trained, and supervised by the Center staff to organize and run the International Student Orientation.
