Message from the International Student Center
The university community warmly welcomes our international students. We are proud of the diversity of our international student faculty, and scholar community, representing 54 different countries. The majority of students study engineering, computer science, or business, but there is growing interest in the visual and performing arts and in programs like Professional Writing and Psychology.
The mission of the International Student Center is to serve international students and scholars with support and advice to help in make your stay here as productive, interesting, and rewarding as possible. The Center provides general advice and assistance with campus life and personal needs. Ongoing support with visas and other immigration forms is available as well as assistance with documentation that international students need while studying at the university.
Workshops are offered during the academic year on employment, taxes, and other subjects of interest to international students. Cultural events are co-sponsored by this office and other organizations on campus.
Please visit any of the sites listed to the left. We hope you find them interesting, convenient, and useful. We welcome any suggestions you have that may improve the information on this site.

The International Student Center is located Pine Dale Residence Hall. New international students must visit the office as soon as possible after their arrival on campus. All international students must visit, call, or email the office periodically in order to maintain their student status with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
We look forward to your visit and to getting to know you.
