Additional information

Outside scholarships are counted as financial resources when calculating eligibility for funds based on your cost of attendance budget. Cost of attendance budget, determined by enrollment and residency, is listed under the financial aid tab in COIN. 

Mahany & Ertl Student Scholarship Video Contest 2015

Mahany and Ertl is offering a $1,000 scholarship to the U.S. law student who can submit the best video essay describing how you plan to improve your community with your law education.

Yanez & Associates Family Law Scholarship Program

The Family Law Offices of Yanez & Associates is pleased to announce their annual essay scholarships. The essay contest is open to all current law students and prospective law students awaiting admission. There will be two winners:

  • First place: $2,000.00
  • Second place: $1,000.00

The goal of the scholarship is to motivate students to pursue a career in family law.

The Advocates Scholarship

The Advocates at Driggs, Bills & Day are happy to announce our new scholarship program. The scholarship is open to both incoming freshmen and current students at schools in the state of Utah. There will be two awards of $250 for Fall Term of 2015-2016, and two awards of $250 for Spring Term 2015-2016.

The Pinkham & Associates Law Scholarship

Annual $1,000 “Why I want to Practice Family/Matrimonial Law” essay.

Pinkham & Associates, A PLC is a Divorce and Family Law Firm in Orange County, California. We are proud to practice Family Law, but understand that it is the rare law school graduate who wants to enter this field of practice.

Our scholarship will be awarded to the candidate that provides the best essay explaining or describing why they want to go into the Divorce/Family Law/Matrimonial Law field. The $1,000 scholarship will be disbursed directly to the student approximately 60 days after the close of submissions.

Tucker IP Personal Injury and Patent Scholarship

Submit an essay between 500 and 1500 words relating to either how a personal injury has inspired you to pursue a career in personal injury law or how a patent has inspired you to pursue a career in patent law and earn a $500 scholarship.

Lamber Goodnow Law School Scholarship

The personal injury lawyers on the Lamber-Goodnow team want to see the best and most qualified individuals enter the legal profession regardless of economic circumstances. To help this cause, we created a law school scholarship.

Submit a 500- to 750-word essay to scholarship@lambergoodnow.com by or on December 1. Tell us what drives you and why you want to pursue a law degree or why you want to go to law school. One individual will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses at a school of his or her choice.

Goodman Acker 2015 Law School Scholarship

Goodman Acker, P.C., Detroit's trusted law firm, understands that finances may determine whether or not a person can even go to law school. That's why they offer this scholarship to a deserving student who will need the financial help to continue their law school education.

The law school scholarship contest is open to students across the United States, who meet any of the following requirements:

  • Currently attending or have been accepted to an accredited law school in the United States
  • Achievement as reflected by a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • US citizen
  • Completed application with their essay entry using our online form

B‌rown, PC Business Law Scholarship

Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm's National Business Law Scholarship, a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a second or third year U.S. law student with a demonstrated interest in business law. 

Candidates should submit a cover letter summarizing their interest in business law to kristen.brown@brownpc.com. Cover letters should incluld the following:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Street, City, State, Zip Code
  • Phone Number
  • University Name and City, State
  • Student ID Number
  • GPA (min. 3.0)
  • Expected Graduation Date

Candidates are encouraged to submit, along with their letter, any documents demonstrating their interest in business law. Documents might include a transcript or class schedule showing business law courses completed or currently in progress, a letter of recommendation from a business law professor, or a letter from someone who supervised the applicant in a business law-related job or internship.

Completed applications must be submitted by December 11th, 2015.
