Outside scholarships are counted as financial resources when calculating eligibility for funds based on your cost of attendance budget. Cost of attendance budget, determined by enrollment and residency, is listed under the financial aid tab in COIN.
Tucker IP Personal Injury and Patent Scholarship
Submit an essay between 500 and 1500 words relating to either how a personal injury has inspired you to pursue a career in personal injury law or how a patent has inspired you to pursue a career in patent law and earn a $500 scholarship.
Completed applications must be submitted by July 31st, 2015 for the Fall semester and November 30th, 2015 for Spring semester.
Second Annual Luvera Law Firm Scholarship
Many students enroll in law school to serve as champions of the underdog. They are committed to preserving a vigorous civil justice system, and to achieving justice for those who have been injured. To support the pursuit of justice, equality, and fairness in the legal process, Luvera Law Firm has created the Annual Luvera Law Firm Scholarship.
The $2,000 scholarship will help defray expenses for a student who has been accepted into or in enrolled in an accredited law school in Washington or elsewhere in the United States for enrollment in the fall of the application year.
Completed applications must be submitted by July 31st, 2015.
James Bellefeuille Legal Marketing Strategy Scholarship
Attorney James Bellefeuille is offering an innovative scholarship to law school students interested in affecting change to law firm marketing. This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to the law student who demonstrates an ability to redefine the way lawyers and law firms market themselves.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than July 31st, 2015.
Chalik & Chalik Annual Survivors Scholarship
Chalik & Chalik Law Offices is offering a scholarship aimed at those who have survived a serious medical diagnosis and are moving forward in their lives. The $1,000 scholarship is open to those attending college or law school in the U.S each fall.
The annual Survivors Scholarship asks applicants to submit a short personal essay about how their cancer or significant medical issue influenced their choice to pursue a higher education. Academic requirements are set at a current GPA of 3.0 or above. Students entering college for the first time will have to document acceptance at an accredited institution, and all applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than August 1st, 2015.
Julie Johnson Law Scholarship
The Law Office of Julie Johnson understands that great careers don’t just happen on their own. We recognize that in order to reach their career goals, every successful lawyer leans on the support of family, friends and community.
That’s why we are pleased to announce the Julie Johnson Law Scholarship to help a female law student in her pursuit of her law degree.
The winner of the $500 law scholarship will be selected by our attorneys based on participation in a video essay contest. In addition to recording an essay, participants are required to meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college in the US or planning to matriculate in the fall of 2015
- Must be in good academic standing if currently enrolled in college or high school
- If an applicant is under 18, the permission of a parent or guardian
- Applicant must be a female
Completed applications must be submitted by Aug 1st, 2015.
Yanez & Associates Family Law Scholarship Program
The Family Law Offices of Yanez & Associates is pleased to announce their annual essay scholarships. The essay contest is open to all current law students and prospective law students awaiting admission. There will be two winners:
- First place: $2,000.00
- Second place: $1,000.00
The goal of the scholarship is to motivate students to pursue a career in family law.

The Advocates Scholarship
The Advocates at Driggs, Bills & Day are happy to announce our new scholarship program. The scholarship is open to both incoming freshmen and current students at schools in the state of Utah. There will be two awards of $250 for Fall Term of 2015-2016, and two awards of $250 for Spring Term 2015-2016.

The Pinkham & Associates Law Scholarship
Annual $1,000 “Why I want to Practice Family/Matrimonial Law” essay.
Pinkham & Associates, A PLC is a Divorce and Family Law Firm in Orange County, California. We are proud to practice Family Law, but understand that it is the rare law school graduate who wants to enter this field of practice.
Our scholarship will be awarded to the candidate that provides the best essay explaining or describing why they want to go into the Divorce/Family Law/Matrimonial Law field. The $1,000 scholarship will be disbursed directly to the student approximately 60 days after the close of submissions.

Lamber Goodnow Law School Scholarship
The personal injury lawyers on the Lamber-Goodnow team want to see the best and most qualified individuals enter the legal profession regardless of economic circumstances. To help this cause, we created a law school scholarship.
Submit a 500- to 750-word essay to email@example.com by or on December 1. Tell us what drives you and why you want to pursue a law degree or why you want to go to law school. One individual will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses at a school of his or her choice.
Completed applications must be submitted by December 1.
Goodman Acker 2015 Law School Scholarship
Goodman Acker, P.C., Detroit's trusted law firm, understands that finances may determine whether or not a person can even go to law school. That's why they offer this scholarship to a deserving student who will need the financial help to continue their law school education.
The law school scholarship contest is open to students across the United States, who meet any of the following requirements:
- Currently attending or have been accepted to an accredited law school in the United States
- Achievement as reflected by a minimum 3.0 GPA
- US citizen
