It is likely that the President who will be elected in 2016 may have the opportunity to appoint up to three new justices to the Supreme Court. Future justices could potentially face cases on everything from campaign finance to affirmative action, abortion and voting rights. Some advocate for a so-called "litmus test” during the confirmation process to try to determine how a nominee might vote on a particular issue should it come before the Court. Others argue that judicial experience or temperament should be the main qualifier, and such tests should not be used. Which do you believe is the best evaluator of a nominee, and why?

Due to the high cost of attending college, along with the difficulties of balancing work and child care, further education is not always possible.

At Custody X Change, we believe everybody should have the opportunity to attend college, regardless of their circumstances. Single parents often struggle to accumulate funds and maintain a decent standard of living while studying. The fear of being unable to provide adequate child care often overshadows academic aspirations.
