Future justices could potentially face cases on everything from campaign finance to affirmative action, abortion and voting rights. Some advocate for a so-called "litmus test” during the confirmation process to try to determine how a nominee might vote on a particular issue should it come before the Court. Others argue that judicial experience or temperament should be the main qualifier, and such tests should not be used. Which do you believe is the best evaluator of a nominee, and why?
