Cathy helps provide current awareness services for faculty and one-on-one assistance to students in the location, use, and understanding of legal materials.
Since coming to the law school, she has increased use of reference services by students and faculty, participated in the delivery of Research Refresher classes, and established a relationship with many faculty members who rely on her for information and research guidance. Her computer expertise with online legal databases is a significant addition to our reference services.
Cathy holds a B.S. in Education from Fitchburg State College where she received a teaching certificate for teaching students with severe and profound disabilities.
She received her Juris Doctor from Southern New England School of Law and her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Rhode Island.
Prior to joining our staff, she was in private practice, focusing on Special Education law. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, AALL, and LLNE.
