Robert's Rules of Order Workshop
Learn how to run efficient, organized meetings through the implementation of Robert's Rules of Order
UMass School of Law, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity invites all student groups (law school and main campus), as well as local community groups and non-profits, to participate in a free workshop at UMass Law on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 4:30-6:00 pm to learn how to implement Robert's Rules of Order.
Robert's Rules of Order is the standard for facilitating discussions and group decision-making and is a very prevalent format of conducting meetings in public, private, non-profit, and for-profit sectors. Robert's Rules will help your group have better meetings and encourage fairness and participation.
It is highly encouraged that at least 2 members of a group participate. All participants are also encouraged to purchase a copy of the Robert's Rules of Order Handbook. The cost of the handbook is $7 in advance (credit card), through the RSVP link and $5 at the door (cash only).
Note: Only 50 handbooks are available for sale.
