UMass Law graduate Jennifer Velarde, who was recently profiled by the Standard Times, has opened her law practice on Union Street in downtown New Bedford, MA.
Velarde hopes to use her practice and her experience as an Ecuadorian immigrant to help immigrant populations in need of legal representation, particularly the Latino community. Read more
