Tim Federico, JD '16: Confidence in the courtroom

After gaining experience in the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, Tim Federico, JD '16 was hired by the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.

Courtroom experience

I chose UMass Law because of the Public Interest Fellowship, which made UMass Law financially attractive.

During my time here, I solidified my interest in criminal prosecution. I held several internships at district attorney’s offices and helped with a high-profile homicide case. Additionally, I enrolled in the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, where I gained even more courtroom experience.

Immediately upon graduating from UMass Law, I was hired by the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, where I’ve felt confident and prepared to be in the courtroom since day one.
