Advocacy
We advocate within student communities, UMassD departments, and University administration for policy, procedural, and environmental changes to support the health and well-being of the campus community.
Much of this work is accomplished through our active participation in numerous committees, including:
- Alcohol and Other Drug Committee
- Mental Health Policy Committee
- Sexual Assault Committee
Additionally, we work with non-profit organizations, community coaltions, and college/university consortiums to support student health. These include:
- Amercian Cancer Society
- Partnership for Clean Air
- American College Health Association
- New England College Health Association
- New England Health Educators Network
- Southeast Massachusetts College and University Alcohol and Other Drug Consortium
