UMass Dartmouth cancels or postpones arts events

Due to the tragic events this week, the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is canceling an opening reception scheduled tonight in the Star Store Campus, and postponing all other events until further notice

Due to the tragic events this week, the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is canceling an opening reception scheduled tonight in the Star Store Campus, and postponing all other events until further notice. 

Cancelled to date is tonight's (September 13) opening of Alan E. Cober: A Retrospective Afterlife. The exhibition will be on view through October 17. The new gallery, located in the university's new Star Store Campus at 715 Purchase Street, New Bedford, is open Monday - Saturday, from 2-5 p.m. 

The Department of Music will also postpone the harpsichord recital of Paul Cienniwa that was scheduled for Sunday, September 16 in the Recital Hall of the CVPA at 4 p.m.
