Japanese film, `Afterlife' to be shown at UMass Dartmouth

The Fall 2001 International Film Series at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth concludes with a showing of "Afterlife," (Japan, 1998) on Friday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. The film will be presented in the College of Visual and Performing Arts Recital Hall (room 153) with an introduction by English Professor Charles W. White.

Afterlife, directed by Kore-Edo Hirokazu in Japanese, shows the spirits of the newly dead recalling their cherished memories at a counseling center staffed by bureaucrats.
