Piano recital scheduled on November 4 at UMass Dartmouth

Dr. Christina Biron will present a piano recital on Sunday, November 4, at 3 p.m. at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The free concert, sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Committee, will be held in the College of Visual and Performing Arts Recital Hall, (room 153) with parking available in lot 8/9.

Dr. Christina Biron will present a piano recital on Sunday, November 4, at 3 p.m. at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The free concert, sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Committee, will be held in the College of Visual and Performing Arts Recital Hall, (room 153) with parking available in lot 8/9. 

The program will include Mozart’s Sonata in B flat major, K.333, Beethoven’s Sonata in A flat major, Op. 110, Chopin’s Scherzo in B minor, Op. 20, and Debussy’s Arabesque No. 1.

Biron holds a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education from Ohio State University, a master’s degree in Spanish from the University of Michigan and bachelor of arts and music degrees from the University of Michigan. At UMass-Dartmouth, she teaches courses in the Spanish and Master of Arts in Teaching programs. This recital marks her return to the university music scene following an 11-year absence.
