The Center for Jewish Culture at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth presents a talk by noted author and journalist Ruth Gruber on Wednesday, February 6, at 7 p.m. in the Library Browsing Area. Parking is available in lot 13.

The Center for Jewish Culture at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth presents a talk by noted author and journalist Ruth Gruber on Wednesday, February 6, at 7 p.m. in the Library Browsing Area. Parking is available in lot 13. 

Born in Brooklyn, Gruber earned a doctorate at the age of 20, was foreign correspondent in Israel for the New York Herald Tribune, an explorer in the Soviet Arctic, and a researcher in Alaska. Her books include Exodus 1947: The Ship That Launched the Nation, Haven: The Unknown Story of 1,000 World War II Refugees, and Raquela: A Woman of Israel.
