International film series begins with Cape Verde's "Testamento"

A showing of "Testamento," (Cape Verde, 1997) launches the spring International Film Series at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Friday, February 8, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The free film will be introduced by Professor Charles White and screened in the College of Visual and Performing Arts Building, room 153. Parking is available in lot 8/9.

International film series begins with Cape Verde’s Testamento

A showing of Testamento, (Cape Verde, 1997) launches the spring International Film Series at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Friday, February 8, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The free film will be introduced by Professor Charles White and screened in the College of Visual and Performing Arts Building, room 153. Parking is available in lot 8/9.

Testamento, tells the story of Graca, the illegitimate daughter of the wealthiest man in the Cape Verde Islands. Directed by Francisco Manso, the film is presented in Portuguese. The College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the UMass Dartmouth Library made funding for the film series possible.
