The free film is the second in the university’s International Film Series and will be introduced by Professor Charles White. The Ice Rink, is a lighthearted farce that follows what happens when an American actor arrives on the set of a movie being filmed at an ice rink, and finds himself mixing with a wacky cast of character. These sidekicks include a suffering director, a neurotic producer, a sexy starlet (played by Dolores Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie), and the entire Lithuanian National Hockey Team.

The College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the UMass Dartmouth Library made funding for the program possible.
