Media critic Jeff Cohen to speak at UMass Dartmouth 

Jeff Cohen, nationally recognized media critic, will speak on Wednesday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Library Browsing Area at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Parking is available in lot 13. Sponsors of his appearance are the UMD Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution Group and Student Senate. 

Cohen is founder of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), a New York-based media watch organization. He will talk about media issues and concerns of an increasingly ‘globalized’ world. Cohen’s columns have appeared in daily newspapers such as USA Today, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, and Miami Herald. He is co-author of four books, has appeared regularly on “Fox News Watch,” and served as co-host of CNN’s “Crossfire.” A frequent guest on television shows including “Today,” “Larry King Live,” “Donahue,” and “C-Span.”Cohen also lectures at college campuses nation-wide.
