Umass Dartmouth Hillel Hosts Celebration Of Peace

Dartmouth, MA—Please join the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Hillel in the Shalom Sukkah between Group 6 and the Library on Thursday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Peace. These events on the campus green are also part of the second Annual Daniel Pearl Music Day, a worldwide day of promoting tolerance through music. 

Daniel Pearl was a Jewish reporter for the Wall Street Journal who was kidnapped and murdered while working in Pakistan. He was passionate about the potential to build bridges through music. 

“We hope to bring together various campus groups in celebrating our shared values of tolerance and world harmony,” said Robin Gross, Hillel Director. 

There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted for the Daniel Pearl Foundation.
