Slade's Ferry Bank Center for Business Research at UMASS Dartmouth, in collaboration with the Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton and Metro South Chambers of Commerce is offering a tax seminar entitled "Planning To Minimize Your Taxes".

PLANNING TO MINIMIZE YOUR TAXES workshop hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Feb 5; pre-register by Jan. 30 

Slade's Ferry Bank Center for Business Research at UMASS Dartmouth, in collaboration with the Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton and Metro South Chambers of Commerce is offering a tax seminar entitled "Planning To Minimize Your Taxes". The seminar will be offered from 8:00AM to lO:OOAM on February 5, 2003 at the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center in Fall River, MA. 

Leading the program will be Douglas Rodriques, CPA of D.E. Rodrigues & Company. The presentation will include: The second year of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 202: technical corrections and additions for both individuals and businesses; tax strategies: including importance of planning, shifting income, postponing liability and retirement overview; tax wise investments; other provisions: including structuring events, home exclusion, education breaks, timing of income and deductions, business reminders and estate tax issues. Bring your own personal questions and concerns. 

Members of the Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton and Metro South Chambers of Commerce will be admitted for free. For others the fee is $25. Pre-registration by January 30 is required.
