Art Gallery Exhibit Features Programs In Artisanry

UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS DARTMOUTH ART GALLERY EXHIBIT FEATURES PROGRAMS IN ARTISANRY 

The University Art Gallery at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, located at 715 Purchase Street in the College of Visual and Performing Arts building in downtown New Bedford, is pleased to present: 

CRAFT TRANSFORMED - PROGRAM IN ARTISANRY: 
Swain School of Design 1985-88, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth 1988-2002. 

The exhibition will be on view from September 11 through December 11. The opening reception will be on Saturday, September 13 from 3-5 PM. 

CRAFT TRANSFORMED-PROGRAM IN ARTISANRY is a two-fold project, jointly undertaken by the Fuller Museum of Art in Brockton and the University Art Gallery, consisting of two exhibitions and a catalog. The CRAFT TRANSFORMED exhibitions will serve to officially recognize the Program in Artisanry for the significant contribution it made, and continues to make, to the arts in New England and America.
