February 2 - Miriam Weinstein, journalist, documentary f~lm-maker, speaks on her appreciation of Yiddish "A Nation of Words" at Hillel Brunch at 11 a.m. in the Campus Faculty Dining Room, Campus Center and at 1 p.m. at the Adas Israel Synagogue, Robeson Street, Fall River. Please RSVP; admission free. 

March 1-31—Portraits of Wise Women," an exhibit celebrating local Jewish women and women's organizations through the years to be held during the month of March in commemoration of Women's History Month .Library Browsing Area, parking lot #13. 

March 12—Reception to open exhibition "Portraits of Wise Women," 6:30 pm; lecture by Rachel Kadish, reading from her new novel, "From a Sealed Room." Library Browsing Area; free admission; parking lot #13. 

March 26—Annual Women's Seder honoring Dr. Janet Freedman, professor of education, at 6 pm in the South Alcove of the Campus Center. Co-sponsored by Women's Resource Center. Free admission; parking lot#5 

April 2 - Lecture by Ilan Stavans, Mexican Jewish writer at 7 pm ,Library Browsing Area. Lecture in memory of Prof. Joseph Vinci. General admission $10; parking Lot #13. 

April 30 - Holocaust Memorial Program at Tifereth Israel Synagogue in New Bedford at 7 pm. Documentary film, "Sisters in Resistance" by Maia Wechsler who will discuss film afterwards. Cosponsored by Boivin Center for French Language and Literature and the Holocaust Education Committee of the Jewish Federation. Admission free.
