Umass Dartmouth Offers Algebra Course For 7th, 8th, & 9th Grade Students

The University of Massachusetts Division of Professional & Continuing Education will offer a unique, non-credit course, Algebra for All, designed for middle school students interested in improving or enhancing their algebra skills. Students who are already doing well in their math classes, as well as students who are having difficulty understanding the foundations of algebra, are invited to enroll.

UMASS DARTMOUTH OFFERS ALGEBRA COURSE FOR 7TH, 8TH, & 9TH GRADE STUDENTS 

DARTMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS The University of Massachusetts Division of Professional & Continuing Education will offer a unique, non-credit course, Algebra for All, designed for middle school students interested in improving or enhancing their algebra skills. Students who are already doing well in their math classes, as well as students who are having difficulty understanding the foundations of algebra, are invited to enroll. This course is customized to meet the needs of all students based upon their individual abilities in algebra. 

Algebra for All is a technology-based course that uses innovative software and curriculum developed through a research project at UMass Dartmouth. The course is highly interactive between the students and the instructor. Professor Frank Cabral, the instructor says,
