Strategic Envirotechnology Partnership (STEP) Program The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth today announced a request for proposal (RFP) for the FY05 STEP Program. The UMASS Dartmouth STEP Program funding for FY05 will be approximately $100,000, with individual awards of up to $20,000. Awards may be granted to UMASS faculty, other researchers or commercial enterprises. Past research topics have included air pollution control, industrial wastewater treatment, hazardous waste remediation, and pollution prevention.

Awards may be granted to UMASS faculty, other researchers or commercial enterprises. Past research topics have included air pollution control, industrial wastewater treatment, hazardous waste remediation, and pollution prevention.

The current ATMC’s research interests are in the field of electrochemical technology, environmental biotechnology, heterogeneous reaction systems, surface chemistry and engineering, and green chemistry.
