--College Now: Anne Boisvert, Asst Director of Alternative Admissions, will explain the College Now/START program and how faculty can assist students who are in the program.

Senior faculty will discuss publishing in journals and other venues, drawing on their experience as prolific researchers. The discussion will include publishing processes such as preparing a manuscript for a journal and the revise and resubmit process.

Faculty who have recently completed personnel actions will discuss what to include (or not) in research narratives. Feel free to bring your laptop to take notes.

This is a hands-on session. Please bring copies of syllabi, representative assignment sheets, peer review reports, etc. We will begin drafting your teaching narrative.

This session will be dedicated to answering questions that participants may have. Questions may be related to any aspect of research, teaching or service and may be answered by the OFD director and/or by other participants.
