Non-Degree Student Status
Anyone
interested in the Graduate Program in Nursing is able
to take 2 courses (6 credits) as a "Non-Degree Student." This
means that the student has not, yet, matriculated (been accepted)
into the program. Applicants frequently choose this option to
determine if this is the optimal time to begin pursuing graduate
studies; they
meet some of the other students, work with faculty,
and explore the different options available in the Program.
Non-degree
students typically have a BSN or are Registered Nurses with
a degree in a related field. A few courses are appropriate for non-nurses
seeking elective credits for other programs. All non-degree students must
obtain permission from the Graduate Director before registering for a course.
