RN Refresher Course
The RN
Refresher Course is conducted under the direction
of Professor Lorraine Fisher. It was
established to fulfill a
need which exists among nursing professionals.
The goal of this Course is to offer a quality program
that is taught by the best professionals and specialists
in the area. The Course offers a variety of topics,
based upon general themes which are reflective of the
latest trends in health care.

because this course has limited enrollment. Courses are confirmed or cancelled
one week prior to their start date. You will only be notified if your class

Course Goals
:
This 8 week refresher course is designed to provide nurses
with an update of both the theoretical content and clinical
practice, in acute care, needed to return to employment
in nursing.
Content Areas (in acute care):
* Systems review & assessment
* Pharmacology updates
* Laboratory
skills (chest tubes, IV therapy,
parenteral injections, universal precautions
& dressing changes)

Continuing Education Credits (CEU's):
CEU’s, as well as a Certificate of Completion,
will be awarded upon completion of this program.
