College Of Nursing

Our Programs

The College of Nursing offers the only bachelor's and graduate degree programs in nursing in Southeastern Massachusetts. All students applying/admitted to any of the nursing programs of study must meet the Functional Abilities Guidelines promulgated by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

On the undergraduate level, students are admitted to one of two options: students with no prior nursing education and Licensed Practical Nurses are admitted to the basic option. The second option, a flexible-access track for RNs, provides the opportunity for registered nurses who are graduates of associate degree and/or diploma schools to complete requirements for the bachelor's degree in nursing (RN-BSN) or continue on to the master's degree (RN-MS).

On the graduate level, the College of Nursing offers the master's of science degree for Advanced Practice Nursing and also offers post baccalaureate and post master's certificate programs. Other post master's courses are also offered.

The College also offers an RN refresher course designed to provide an update of content and practice for RNs returning to employment in nursing.
